Membership
Who Can Join
The SLTCC serves persons working in teaching and teaching related institutions, and their family. Therefore, all teachers be it in government or private schools; other workers in these institutions, cooks, security, secretary, janitors, workers in the Ministry of Education, St. Lucia Teachers' Union and the spouses, children, siblings and grandparents of these workers are all entitled to membership.
Every member of the St. Lucia Teachers' Credit Co-operative Ltd. shall be:
- not younger than 16 years of age, and
- a teacher, or an employee of an education institution or
- spouse, child, sibling or grandparent of a member or
- an employee of the Society
To apply for membership, simply obtain an application from from the Office of the Society, or download a form.
Return completed from to the office along with two valid forms of photo ID and a $5.00 entrance fee. You are also required to purchase a minimum of twenty shares ($100.00).

School Clubs

- Letter from the principal of the school authorizing the opening of the account, the signatories and signing authority

Registered Businesses

- Certificate of registration of the business name;
- List of partners if any;
- Specimen signatures of authorized signatories;
- Professional certification confirming formal training in the field.

- In cases of young adults who reside with their parents, or vice versa a letter can be provided by the parent (s) or child confirming that the member resides with him/her in the prescribed format (Appendix 6). This letter must be accompanied by a utility bill in the
name of the person confirming the address along with the parent’s identification document of the person in whose name the bill is registered
